The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra is set to kick off its 2022 season on Feb. 24, 2022 at the Melbourne Recital Centre.

The company will present Fauré’s Requiem as well as music by Lully and Rameau.

“Our 2022 live season begins with Paradisum, a musical trip to the chic Paris of La Belle Époque. Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem is one of the most loved choral works ever written and we will be performing the stunning 1889 version on period instruments with the Brandenburg Choir,” said Co-founder and Artistic Director Paul Dyer in an official press statement.

In total there will be three showcases at the Melbourne Recital including performances on Feb. 26 and 27, 2022. From there the program will shift over to the City Recital Hall in Sydney starting on March 2. There will be a total of six performances running through March 11, 2022.
