Arts Empowering Life to Present Bach’s ‘St. Matthew Passion’

Arts Empowering Life will present two performances of Johann Sebastian Bach’s “St. Matthew Passion” on May 29 and 30, 2025.

The showcases, set to take place at the Church of the Transfiguration in Orleans, Massachusetts, will feature Gloriae Dei Cantores and Creare Symphonia under the musical direction of Richard K. Pugsley. The cast of soloists includes bass-baritone Andrew Nolen as Jesus, tenor David Vanderwall as the Evangelist, soprano Sr. Amanda Ortolani, alto Kathryn Leemhuis, tenor Neal Ferreira, and bass David Adam Moore.

Both performances begin at 7:30 p.m.
