The Apollo Choir of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden will celebrate the holiday season with its annual Christmas Concert on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at 7 p.m.

The event, set to take place at St. Matthäus Church at Berlin’s Kulturforum, will feature J.S. Bach’s  “Christmas Oratorio,” Parts I–III, performed with members of the Staatskapelle Berlin. Soloists include soprano Narine Yeghiyan, alto Ekaterina Chayka-Rubinstein, tenor Junho Hwang, and bass Dionysios Avgerinos, all from the Opera Studio and ensemble of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden.

The Apollo Choir was founded in 1946 as a special choir for the Staatsoper Unter den Linden’s production and remains dedicated to choral works from opera and the concert repertory.
