Anna Netrebko, Pretty Yende & Christian Van Horn Lead Festival Cap Rocat’s 2025 Season

The Festival Cap Rocat in Mallorca has announced its 2025 season, which will be held between August 1 and 3, 2025.

The season opens with a Gala operística featuring soprano Pretty Yende and director Riccardo Frizza. The Orquesta Sinfónica de las Islas Baleares will perform a program that includes Bellini, Verdi, Berlioz, Gounod, Dvořák, and Johann Strauss II.

Performance Date: August 1, 2025

Verdi’s “Nabucco”  will be performed in concert. The opera will star Anna Netrebko in her first Abigaille in Spain. She will star alongside Gabriele Viviani as Nabucco, Christian Van Horn as Zaccaria, and Francesco Demuro as Ismaele.

The cast is rounded out by Caterina Piva, Manuel Fuentes, Moisés Marín, and Caterina Marchesini. Pablo Mielgo conducts the Orquesta Sinfónica de las Islas Baleares.
