Alumnae of the Academy of Vocal Arts Alexandra Nowakowski and Hannah Ludwig are set to perform a second livestream-only recital.

The pre-recorded recital will air on Dec. 4, 2020 at 6 p.m. on YouTube Premiere. The “Music, Unite Us” program features works by Rossini, Rachmaninoff, Bernstein, and more.

The recital was filmed before the city of Philadelphia entered new lockdown restrictions and was shot with all the precautions necessary including Ludwig singing in her mask for the duration of the recital.

In a statement Nowakowski said, “As the news these days can be harder and harder to read, Hannah Ludwig, Jose Melendez, and I would like to come together once again for a musical offering, this time focusing on the importance of humanity’s ability to work together. We are also getting closer to the holidays where many of us may not be able to gather with our loved ones as usual, so we have prepared a program for you all honoring the times we can be together and grieving the times we cannot.”
