Ensamble Arcana to Present All-Monteverdi Program at Buenos Aires’ Iglesia Metodista de Flores

The Ensamble Arcana will present a free concert of sacred and secular works by Claudio Monteverdi at the Iglesia Metodista de Flores in Buenos Aires on June 19, 2026.

Titled “Esplendor de Monteverdi: música sacra y profana del divino Claudio,” the concert will be led by director Andrés Gerszenzon. The vocal ensemble includes sopranos Oriana Bucello, Constanza Leoni, and Cinthia Belén Zapata; mezzo-soprano Agustina Lo Vecchio; alto Malena Justo; tenors Julián Zimenspitz and Alan Nuñez Burgos; and baritones Pablo Martín García and Germán Rodas.

The instrumental contingent features Nicole Romero, flute; Tiago Colman and Sofía Campbell, violins; Facundo Arguelles, theorbo and Baroque guitar; Raúl Pastro Manfredi, harpsichord; and Marcelo Dutto, organ, who also serves as assistant director.

The showcase kicks off at at 7 p.m.

Ensamble Arcana is the Baroque music ensemble of the Universidad Nacional de las Artes’ Departamento de Artes Musicales y Sonoras.
