Alexandra Lang, Tesia Kwarteng, Zoe Marie Hart to Headline ‘Liter Abend Vol. II’
By David Salazar“Liter Abend, Vol. II” is coming to New York City this April.
“Liter Abend” is a celebration of German Lied headlined by soprano Alexandra Lang and music director Eric Sedgwick. This edition will also include performances by mezzo-soprano Tesia Kwarteng and soprano Zoe Marie Hart. Audiences will hear music by such composers as Brahms and Berg.
The showcase, which will feature two performances at the Blue Gallery, is set for April 2 at 8 p.m. and April 3 at 3 p.m. Attendees will be asked to show proof of ID and three vaccines against COVID-19.
Those unable to attend the performance will be able to stream it.
Twenty-five percent of ticket sales from “Liter Abend, Vol. II” will be donated to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
