On June 21, the final performance of “Le Nozze di Figaro” at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, Adriana González gave a surprising encore in the third act.

The Guatemalan soprano encored “Dove sono,” following an incredible ovation.

González’s encore is the second one the at the company this season. A few weeks ago, tenor Xabier Anduaga encored “Pourquoi me réveiller” in a performance of “Werther.”

González is well-known at the Gran Teatre del Liceu having performed in productions of “Il viaggio a Reims,” “Les contes d’Hoffmann,” “La bohème,” “Turandot,” and “Carmen.” She was joined by a cast that included Andrè Schuen, Sara Blanch, Luca Pisaroni, and Julia Lezhneva.
