Rai 5 to Broadcast Teatro all Scalas’s ‘La Traviata’ with Nadine Sierra

On Oct. 15, Rai 5 and RaiPlay will broadcast Verdi’s “La Traviata” from the Teatro alla Scala.
The opera will star Nadine Sierra, Piero Pretti, and Boris Pinkhasovich in Liliana Cavani’s classic production with Michele Gamba conducting
Regarding the revival of “La Traviata,” OperaWire said, “Nadine Sierra portrayed a Violetta with a warm, sensual voice and great emotional intensity in Act two, particularly in her duet with Germont and in the final aria, ‘Addio del passato,’ where she displayed both her dramatic and vocal qualities.”
