
Cast Change: Théâtre des Champs-Elysées Gets New Lead for ‘Robinson Crusoé’

The Théâtre des Champs-Elysées has announced a cast change for its production of “Robinson Crusoé.”
The company said that “Due to personal reasons, Lawrence Brownlee will not be able to play the title role. Tenor Sahy Ratia accepted the challenge.”
Ratia has performed at the Berlin Staatsoper, at the Elbphilharmonie, at the Opera-Comique, and the Champs-Élysées Theater. His repertoire include such works as “La Fille du Régiment,” “Dialogues des Carmélites,” and “Rigoletto.”
Ratia will join a cast that includes Julie Fuchs, Laurent Naouri, Marc Mauillon, Rodolphe Briand, Matthieu Toulouse, Adèle Charvet, Emma Fekete, and Julie Pasturaud.
“Robinson Crusoé” is set to be performed on Dec. 3 through the 14, 2025.
