Sony Classical has announced the release of Roberto Alagna and Aleksandra Kurzak’s first album for the company.

The album, entitled “Puccini in Love,” features the real life couple in duets from the famed composer.

The album marks the first album in a long-term contract that both artists signed with Sony. Alagna first signed a deal with the company in January.

In that announcement the tenor said, “I am utterly delighted to become part of the international Sony Classical family. I have long since admired the label and its achievements and I look forward to a long and fruitful association in the years ahead.”

Kurzak later signed in June with plans to release her first solo album for the company in 2019.

The new duet album is set to for release on Oct. 26, 2018.
