The event brings together more than 600 choristers from across all five boroughs.
Led by Artistic Director and Founder Francisco J. Núñez, Creative Director Elizabeth Núñez, and conductors Ahra Cho, Caitlin Henning, and Maria Peña, the program features holiday classics, world music selections, and newly arranged works. Choreography by Jacquelyn Bird adds a theatrical dimension to the performance.
The program will feature Eric Whitacre’s “Lux Aurumque,” selections from Samuel Adler’s “Flames of Freedom,” the Nigerian carol “Betelehemu,” and seasonal standards such as “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” “My Favorite Things,” “Little Saint Nick,” and “Underneath the Tree,” among others.
“Our Winter Concert is a reflection of the energy, optimism, and unity that music inspires,” said Núñez, per an official press release. “These young voices remind us of what harmony truly means.”
