The Young People’s Chorus of New York City (YPCNYC) is set to present “A Very Merry New York ” on Dec. 8, 2024 at David Geffen Hall in Lincoln Center.

The showcase will feature a number of holiday classics featuring choreography by Jaquelyn Bird. Among the major hallmarks of the performance will be the premiere of a new arrangement of ‘Song of Light” by Grammy nominee Chandrika Tandon. Audience members will also be invited for a sing-along portion of the performance.

“After an incredible summer of international, award-winning performances, we are thrilled to once again unite our New York community to celebrate the holiday season,” said Francisco J. Núñez, Artistic Director and Founder of YPC, in an official press release. “Our talented young choristers will take the stage at one of New York City’s most iconic venues to bring warmth, shine a light on the future, and spread the magic of the season with family, friends, and visitors alike.”

The ensemble will be led by a wide array of conductors throughout the performance, including Núñez, Elizabeth Núñez, Caitlin Henning, Ahra Cho, Maria Peña, Emma Sway, Taylor Smith, and Juliet Freedman.
