Young Audiences Music Awards Announces 2025 Winners

The Young Audiences Music Awards has announced its 2025 winners.

The Best Opera for Young Audiences prize went to “A la vie, à la mort—forever!” by Helene Bracke from Belgium, while the Public Choice award was given to “Mifletset Baktanah (‘Kind of Monster’)” by the composer Ady Cohen & librettist Shira Patchornik from Israel.

The awards gave prizes to Best School Concert, Best Large Ensemble, Best Participatory Project, and Best Small Ensemble.

The Young Audiences Music Awards (YAMawards) honor creativity and innovation in the field of musical productions for young audiences, from all corners of the world, created by professional ensembles of all forms, from solo artists to orchestras.
