Amigos de la Ópera have announced the program of fall vocal performances at the Teatro Colón de A Coruña, Spain. Here is a look at what to expect this fall.

Opera

Vincenzo Bellini‘s opera “I Puritani” will star Nadine Sierra, Xabier Anduaga, Gerardo Bullón, Luiz-Ottavio Faria, Alejandro Baliñas, Nicole Brandolino, and Enrique Alberto Martínez. Giacomo Sagripanti conducts the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia.

Performance Date: Sept. 4, 2021

Virginia Tola will perform “El reflejo” alongside pianist Alfredo Abbati. Emilio López is the director.

Performance Date: Sept. 10, 2021

Leoncavallo‘s opera “Pagliacci” spotlights Alejandro Roy in the role of Canio, Vanessa Goikoetxea as Nedda, and Željko Lučić as Tonio. The cast also includes Enrique Alberto Martínez and César San Martín. José Miguel Pérez Sierra conducts the production by Ignacio García.

Händel‘s “Partenope” stars Ana Vieira Leite as Partenope, Helen Charlston, Hugh Cutting, Alberto Miguélez Rouco, Jacob Lawrende, and Matthieu Walendzik. William Christie conducts Les Arts Florissants in the production by Sophie Daneman.
