World’s Harmony Presents ‘You & Me’
By Nicolas QuirogaJunbo Zhou, a Ph.D. student in Choral Conducting at the UC College-Conservatory of Music, has joined forces with several artists to create a unique online showcase “You and Me” through his non-profit World’s Harmony.
An international team of artists, from countries affected by the pandemic, created their own themes and recorded a video that they translated into each of the participants’ languages, such as Mandarin, Russian, English, and Spanish.
The performers include vocal artists Samuel Chan and Lauren McAllister as well as flautist Chia-Ju He, violinist Andrii Isakov, bassist Brooks Taylor, and cellist Evanghelina Ciobanu, among others.
You can check out the video via World’s Harmony’s official Facebook and YouTube pages.
