
Wiener Staatsoper to Stream 2021 ‘Nabucco’ with Plácido Domingo & Anna Pirozzi Instead of Live Performance
By Francisco SalazarThe Wiener Staatsoper has announced that it will stream a Jan. 22, 2021 production of “Nabucco” on March 5, 2026 instead of the live performance that will be held in the theater.
The company will stream a performance that stars Plácido Domingo, Freddie De Tommaso, Riccardo Zanellato, and Anna Pirozzi
The company was originally set to live stream a performance of “Nabucco” with Anna Netrebko, Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Ivan Magrì, Alexander Vinogradov, and Szilvia Vörös.
“Nabucco” runs through March 8. The next live stream will be on March 12 when the company presents a new production of “La Clemenza di Tito,” starring Katleho Mokhoabane, Hanna-Elisabeth Müller, Florina Ilie, Emily D’Angelo, Alma Neuhaus, and Matheus França.
