Lise Davidsen & Fleur Barron Headline Schubert Club’s 2026-27 International Artist Series

The Schubert Club has announced its 2026-27 International Artist Series. Here is a breakdown of the vocal performances on offer.

The series opens on October 23, 2026 with Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen, making her International Artist Series debut at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in Saint Paul. Her program will include songs by Franz Schubert.

Performance Date: Oct. 23, 2026

Mezzo-soprano Fleur Barron, clarinetist Anthony McGill, and pianist Gloria Chien, performing together as Trio Afiori, will make their series debut with a program including works by Florence Price, Johannes Brahms, and arrangements of Nina Simone songs, as well as a world premiere by Gabriel Kahane, co-commissioned by Schubert Club.

Performance Date: Feb. 23, 2027
