
Vittorio Grigolo to Return to Mikhailovsky Theatre for Two Productions
By Francisco SalazarThe Mikhailovsky Theatre has announced new performances by Vittorio Grigolo.
The St. Petersburg Theater announced that the Italian tenor will perform “L’Elisir d’Amore” on March 6 and then return on March 11 for another performance of Bizet’s “Carmen.”
The performances will happen after a concert at the Tchaikovsky Hall on Feb. 25 in which Grigolo will be accompanied by Timur Zangiev and the Russian National Orchestra.
These are the latest appearances for Grigolo at the Mikhailovsky Theatre following performances of Bizet’s “Carmen” on Dec. 10 and Puccini’s “Tosca” on Feb. 6. He has also been performing regularly in Russia including at the Classics on Dvortsovaya, Zarydaye Hall, and Classics at the Palace.
