Toledo Opera and the Toledo Spirits Company present the pop-up event, “Get into the Spirit of Opera,” to promote the upcoming performance of “Cinderella.”

To celebrate the nearing performance of Rossini’s “Cinderella,” the Toledo Spirits Company will host a performance by members of the cast, hold a drawing for two tickets to opening night show and a $75 gift certificate for Toledo Spirits/Bellwether, and will serve a signature cocktail crafted especially for the opera partnership.

Suzanne Rorick, the company’s executive director, said in a press release, “Toledo Opera is excited to be producing this comedic opera for the very first time! We are especially happy to be celebrating this whimsical story with our friends at Toledo Spirits – whose continued partnership is greatly appreciated. Join us for a drink; there is nothing like camaraderie to lift the spirits
of a community.”

This event takes place Sept. 26 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Toledo Spirits Company. “Cinderella” opens Oct. 6, staring mezzo-soprano Sarah Coit.
