The Toledo Opera has announced a Cinderella Coloring Contest in three age divisions.

The contest will see winners in each division and each will receive complimentary tickets for a family of four to “Cinderella” on either Friday, Oct 6, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. or Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Valentine Theatre in Toledo, Ohio.

In a statement, Toledo Opera Director of Marketing & Communication Rachael Cammarn said, “We are so lucky to have partnered with Danielle Di Stefano in the commissioning of this beautiful illustration. We were introduced to her work at the Opera America conference this past spring, where we were gifted her coloring book ‘Manga and Mozart’ – in which a semi-realistic Manga (Japanese drawing style) meets Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, and more in an entertaining, unique, and educational book of beloved characters and scenes from some of the most famous operas ever written. Our commissioned illustration not only features our stars but also the aesthetic of our upcoming production of Cinderella!”

Toledo Opera is set to present “Cinderella” with a cast that includes Sarah Coit, David Walton, Adelmo Guidarelli, and Keith Phares.
