The Stadt Theater Klagenfurt has announced its 2024-25 Season. Here is a look.

Puccini’s “Tosca” opens its season featuring Elizabeth Caballero, Alexandros Tsilogiannis, David Jagodic, and Ivan Krutikov. Nicholas Milton conducts.

Performance Dates: Sept. 19-Nov. 23, 2024

“Stallerhof” by Gerd Kühr and Franz Xaver will be conducted by Mitsugu Hoshino and directed by Sophie Springer. The work stars Sophie Mitterhuber, Matthias Störmer, Sarah Alexandra Hudarew, and Stephen Chaundy.

Performance Dates: Oct. 31-Dec. 6, 2024

Steven Moore conducts Rossini’s “La Cenerentola” with Bernd Mottl directing. Dilara Bastar, Matteo Macchioni, Bernhard Hansky, Wilfried Zelinka, and Andrew Nolen star.

Performance Dates: March 20-May 13, 2025

Nicholas Milton conducts Wagner’s “Das Rheingold” with Aron Stiehl directing. Markus Marquardt, Kai Luge, Martin-Jan Nijhof, Mark Omvlee, Rafał Pawnuk, Matheus Franca, Veronika Dünser, Anke Vondung, Elisabeth Dopheide, Marian Pop, and David Jagodic star.

Performance Dates: May 8-June 13, 2025

Valerio Galli conducts Verdi’s “Requiem” with Alice Rossi, Michal Doron, Burkhard Fritz, and Markus Marquardt as the soloists.
