Closing out its the 2022-23 season, Toledo Opera will present “Celebrazione del Coro.”

The concert, created especially for the greater Toledo community, will feature opera hits by Bizet, Verdi, Wagner, Rossini, and more. Soloists include sopranos Christine Lyons and Sara Mortensen, mezzo-soprano Lindsey Anderson, tenors Alex Richardson, Brendan Boyle, and baritones Corey Crider and Matthew Payne. The audience will also hear from the Toledo Opera Chorus, Toledo Opera Children’s Chorus, and featured soloists accompanied by Toledo Symphony. Kevin Bylsma conducts.

There will be a free “Pre-Opera Talk” one hour before each show. Local scholars will provide historical context and take audience questions.

“Celebrazione del Coro” will be presented on April 21 at 7:30 pm and April 23 at 2 pm at the Valentine Theatre.
