The Sparrow Initiative to Present ‘The Impresario’
By David SalazarThe Sparrow Initiative will present Mozart’s “The Impresario” on August 6, 2022 at St. Wilfrid’s Episcopal Church in Huntington Beach in California.
The showcase, which will star baritone Anthony Moreno, soprano Amy Joy Stephens, soprano Alyssa Wills, tenor Dominic Salvati, and pianist Jasper Jimenez.
There will also be excerpts from a number of other major operas including “La Bohème,” and “L’Elisir d’Amore,” among others.
The Sparrow Initiative is an organization led by Alyssa Wills that aims to use art as a means of raising awareness throughout the community. The organization presents thought-provoking recitals that engage directly with audiences. Future projects include “A Woman’s Voice,” “Unsung,” “Songs to Live By,” and “Joan.”
