Following his summer tour in China and Germany, tenor Ştefan von Korch returns to Romania to perform “Carmina Burana.”

Von Korch is joined by the Oltenia Philharmonic under the baton of Svilen Simeonov. Other soloist include soprano Christine Razec and baritone Alexandru Constantin. Bogdan Botezatu serves as chorus master.

About the work von Korch stated, “‘Carmina Burana’ is very impressive from all points of view. It is a demanding but highly satisfying work, with superb solo and choral lines and overwhelmingly rich orchestral arrangements.”

The Carmina Burana concert is scheduled for Nov. 24 in Craiova beginning at 7 p.m.
