Ștefan von Korch to Go On Tour in China

Tenor Ștefan von Korch is set to go on tour in China alongside the Spanish Reino de Aragón Orchestra, conducted by Ricardo Casero.

The tour will bring together more than 60 musicians and kicks off on July 21 at the Yunnan Grand Theatre.

The tour will cross 27 cities with stops at Chongqing Grand Theatre, Zhuhai Opera House, Nanjing Poly Grand Theatre, Shengyang Grand Theatre, and Shanxi Poly Grand Theatre.

In an official statement regarding the tour, Ştefan von Korch said, “Music is a universal language that unites and connects beyond any cultural, linguistic or geographical barriers. I feel honored to be one of the European messengers of the lyrical repertoire on Asian soil. I am grateful for the opportunity to sing under the musical direction of conductor Ricardo Casero, a name acclaimed worldwide. And I’m glad to be with the Reino De Aragón Orchestra, appreciated in Spain and the world, along the way. ”

Von Korch performs regularly at the Bucarest Opera and is known for his work in the repertoire of Donizetti, Bellini, Verdi, and Léhar.
