The Teatro Regio di Torino has announced a cast change for its production of Halevy’s “La Juive.”

The company said that Martina Russomanno and Daniela Cappiello will perform the role of Eudoxie replacing Nina Minasyan, who was originally announced.

Russomanno will perform the role of Sept. 21, 24, and 28, and Oct. 1 and 3 while Cappiello will perform the opera on Sept. 26.

They will join a cast that includes Mariangela Sicilia, Gregory Kunde, Piotr Buszewski, Riccardo Zanellato, Gordon Bintner, Daniele Terenzi, and Rocco Lia. Daniel Oren conducts the production by Stefano Poda.

Minasyan is set to return to the stage in November for her Met Opera debut in “Un Ballo in Maschera.”
