The Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Colombia and the Coro Nacional de Colombia will present Johann Sebastian Bach’s St. Matthew Passion on August 14 and 16 at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo in Bogotá.

The showcase, under the direction of Roger Díaz-Cajamarca, will feature nearly 150 artists on stage. The cast brings together such soloists as Swiss singers Raphael Höhn and Stephan MacLeod, German baritone Tobias Berndt, and Colombian sopranos Julieth Lozano and Andrea Niño, alongside soloists from the Coro Nacional de Colombia. The Bogotá community chorus Coral ¡Canta, Bogotá Canta! will also participate.

The August 14 kicks off at 8 p.m., while latter show on the 16th has a 5 p.m. showtime.
