
Teatro Grattacielo to World Premiere ‘The Tin Angel’ As Part of 2025 Season

The company kicks things off with the world premiere of Paul Pines and Daniel Asia’s “The Tin Angel” at Ellen Stewart Theater in La MaMa. David Bloom conducts and Chloe Treat directs. The cast includes Spencer Hamlin, Daniel Klein, Victoria McGrath, Alejandro de los Santos, Chantelle Grant, Jordan Rutter-Covato, Henry Hyunsoon Kim, Chisom Maduakor, Zachary Angus, Michael Applah Kubi Mensah, Eugenia Forteza, Rick Agster, Ziliang Hao, Logan Dooley, Justin Ramm Damron, Anthony Jimenez Peña, and Melina Jaharis.
Performance Dates: June 28 – 29, 2025
The company will present “Tribute to Napoli: Songs of Eternal Passion.” The performance will feature mandolin player Francesco Mammola and guitarist Alfonso Brandi alongside such singers as Maia Gonzalez, Pedro Barrera, Eugenia Forteza, and Henry Hyunsoom Kim.

Next up is “Generación Perdida” by Jorge Sosa and Javier Moro Hernandez. Tianhui Ng conducts and Elena Arroz directs.

Then comes the Anna Laura Miszerak-directed “L’Amico Fritz,” which the company presented in 2021. This one will be presented at the Downstairs Theater at La MaMa. Jeremy Brauner, Kathleen Echcols, Claire Tendl, Suchan KIm, Alexandra Billhartz, Steven Kirby, annd Daniel Baum star.
Performance Dates: July 19 – 20, 2025
The season ends with “Le Nozze di Figaro,” directed by Stefanos Koroneos and conducted by Abdiel Vásquez. This one will also be presented at the Downstairs Theater at La MaMa. Nicola Ziccardi and Logan Dooley appear as Count Almaviva; Sarah Rose Johnson, Lu Huang, and Amelia Burshe as the Countess; Johgwon Choi and Ziliang Hao as Figaro; Bry Toll, Jenna Weitman, and Paulina Rodriguez Busquets as Susanna; Eugenia Forteza and Jordan Seguin-Gascoigne as Cherubino; Rick Agster and William Carr as Bartolo; Melina Jaharis and Hasmik Asatryan as Marcellina; Hunter Eisenmenger and Daniel Bauman as Basilio and Don Curzio; Charly Rentz, Magnolia Flynn-Lebischak, and Alexandra Billhartz as Barbarina; and Hans Georg Speth as Antonio.
