Teatro dell’Opera di Roma Announces May Programming

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma has announced May programming for a live audience.

Gianandrea Noseda will conduct a concert dedicated to Brahms on May 15. The concert will feature Symphony No. 2 and will also include the company’s chorus.

The second concert of the month will be held on May 22 and will feature Oksana Lyniv in her Rome debut. The program will include music by Wagner and Tchaikovsky.

The final concert of the month will be held on May 29 and showcase Alejo Pérez in a concert featuring music by Shostakovich and Wagner.

The concerts will start at 8 p.m. and last one hour without intermission. The company will also continue to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions and will limit its audience to 500 people.
