The Teatro del Giglio in Lucca, Italy, has announced its 2025-26 season.

Rossini’s “La cenerentola, ossia La bontà in trionfo” will be conducted by Daniel Smith and directed by Aldo Tarabella

Performance Dates: Dec. 5 & 7, 2026

Verdi’s “Nabucco” will be conducted by Valerio Galli and directed by Federico Grazzini.

Performance Dates: Jan. 4 & 5, 2026

Marko Hribernik conducts Verdi’s “Otello.” Alessio Pizzech directs.

Performance Dates: March 13 & 15, 2026

Puccini’s “Turandot” closes out the season with Alessandro D’Agostini conducting and Nadir Dal Grande directing.

Performance Dates: April 25 & 26, 2026
