The Teatro Comunale di Ferrara has announced its 2025-26 season.

The season opens with “Concerto a due per Puccini” directed by Alessio Boni and Alessandro Quarta. The work celebrates the life of Puccini.

Performance Dates: Sept. 29 & 30, 2025

Maria Teresa Leva, Giorgio Berrugi, and Dalibor Jenis star in Puccini’s “Tosca.”  Stefano Ranzani conducts the production.

Performance Dates: Dec. 5 & 7, 2025

Giulia Alletto, Greta Carlino, Pasquale Greco, Ilaria Monteverdi, Valerio Morelli, Alikhan Zeinolla, and Gianluca Failla star in Rossini’s “La Cenerentola.”  Daniel Smith conducts the production by  Aldo Tarabella.

Performance Dates: Jan 9 & 11, 2026

Lully’s “Le Carnaval, Mascarade Royale” will star Cyrill Auvt, Alexandre Baldo, Giuseppina Bridelli, Valeria La Grotta, Biagio Pizzuti, and Philippe Talbot. Federico Maria Sardelli conducts the production by Emiliano Pellisari.

Performance Dates: Feb. 14 & 15, 2026

Luciano Berio’s “Twice Upon” will be conducted by Bernardo Lo Sterzo.

Performance Date: March 14, 2026

Verdi’s “La Traviata” will star Elisa Verzier, Melissa Purnell, Matteo Falcier, and Angelo Veccia. Jacopo Brusa conducts the production by Andrea Bernard.

Performance Dates: April 11 & 12, 2026

“Ferrovia soprelevata” by Luciano Chailly will be directed by Giovanni Dispenza and directed by Rocco Cianciotta.

Performance Dates: May 23 & 24, 2026
