The Teatro de la Zarzuela has announced a cast change for the “Una noche de Zarzuela” on May 26, 2024.

The company said that Lisette Oropesa has canceled her participation in a May 26 concert “Una noche de Zarzuela” due to “family obligations.”

In her stead, Sara Blanch will take over the concert, which will be held on the same date, and features tenor Ismael Jordi and pianist Rubén Fernández-Aguirre.. Blanch has performed at many of the great theaters in the world, including the Salzburg Festival, Rossini Opera Festival, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Arena di Verona, and the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

Additionally, the company offered a refund to spectators who wish to receive one; these patrons can make said change between Monday, March 4 and Sunday, May 12.
