The Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre will host the 5th Tbilisi International Voice Competition, known as Opera Crown, from Nov. 8–13, 2026.

The jury Chairman for this year’s edition is Badri Maisuradze, Artistic Director of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet State Theatre, will serve as Jury Chairman. He will be joined by Sebastian F. Schwarz, Casting Manager of Teatro alla Scala, Milan; Andrés Rodríguez, Opera Director of Teatro Colón, Buenos Aires; Christophe Ghristi, Artistic Director of Opéra national du Capitole, Toulouse; Szilveszter Ókovács, Director of the Hungarian State Opera, Budapest; and Per Boye Hansen, Artistic Director of the Prague National Theatre Opera and the State Opera. The jury also includes artist managers Fabiana Dalpiaz of Askonas Holt, Sofia Rukin of TACT Artists Management, and Mattia Campetti of IMG Artists.

Live preliminary auditions will be held in Prague, Budapest, and Washington, D.C.

Prizes total $22,000, with awards of $10,000, $7,000, and $5,000 for first, second, and third place respectively.
