The 61th International Competition of Verdiane Voices in the City of Busseto was held on Sunday Dec. 14 with the final concert at Teatro Verdi in Busseto.

The evening saw no first prize winner but two winners for second and third prize.

Tthe second place went to soprano Rosa Vingiani (Italy) and baritone Wonjun Jo (South Korea), while the third place goes to baritone Junhyeok Park (South Korea) and soprano Shuting Shi (China).

The competition participants were accompanied by pianist Milo Martani.

The jury was led by Alessio Vlad (Teatro Regio di Parma), Massimo Biscardi (Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia), Cristiano Sandri (Teatro Regio di Torino), Christina Scheppelmann (The Seattle Opera, La Monnaie de Munt), and Evamaria Wieser (Salzburg Festival).
