Alice Birch & Tom Coult’s New Opera ‘Violet’ Set for UK Tour
On June 3, 2022, the newest opera to come from playwright Alice Birch and composer Tom Coult, titled “Violet,” is set to premiere with six performances across the U.K. Originally slated for the canceled 2020 Aldeburgh Festival, “Violet” was developed at Snape Maltings as part of the Jerwood Opera Writing Programme.
