Semperoper Dresden Announces Cast Change For ‘Der Rosenkavalier’

The Semperoper Dresden has announced a cast change for “Der Rosenkavalier” on Oct. 31, 2019. The company announced that Elena Gorshunova will sing Sophie in the performance, replacing Nikola Hillebrand. The soprano joins a cast that includes Anne Schwanewilms, Albert Pesendorfer, Sophie Koch, and Martin Gantner. Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider conducts the production by Uwe Eric Laufenberg.
