Bass Stephen Clark has joined the roster of Athlone Artists.

The Tulsa native has enjoyed an international opera career that has seen him perform with such organizations as the Theater am Goetheplaz, Seagle Music Colony, Central City Opera, Chautauqua, Fort Worth Opera Festival, Sarasota Opera,

and Theater Bremen in such operas as “Alcina,” “L’Italiana in Algieri,” and “Don Giovanni,” among others.

In 2021-22 he is set to appear in productions of “Die Zauberflöte,” “Falstaff,” “L’Elisir d’amore,” and “Falstaff.”

“I really wanted to find someone who could help guide me on this journey,” Clark said in an official press statement. “I don’t know what the future holds, in Europe or America, but I’m so happy to be a member of the Athlone roster. I’m hoping Miguel can lead me towards an open door and I will go through it. I’m openminded and looking forward to whatever comes next!”
