The Buxton International Festival has announced its 2027 season, which will run between July 7 and 25, 2027.

The line-up will include Offenbach’s “The Tales of Hoffmann,” in a production in collaboration with Norwich Theatre Royal, Strauss’ “Ariadne auf Naxos” and “Salome: Dance Toward Ruin” in an OperaUpClose production, in partnership with Opera North and artsdepot as well as Rossini’s “La gazzetta.” Donizetti’s “Don Pasquale” will be presented in an Opera della Luna production.

There will also be a concert production of Mozart’s “”Die Entführung aus dem Serail” and the world premiere of Thea Musgrave’s “Orlando – An Escapade,” based on Virginia Woolf’s novel “Orlando.”
