The Atlanta Opera is set to showcase “Stephanie Blythe & Friends” on May 18, 2019.

The concert is set to take place at the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center at City Springs and will feature the famed mezzo alongside baritone Jonathan Bryan, soprano Anna Koźlakiewicz, mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Sarian, and tenor Justin Stolz. Pianist Craig Terry will be music director and accompanist for the program.

Among the pieces that will be performed are “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” “If You Don’t Want My Peaches,” and other classic pieces from musicals and film.

In addition to the concert, Stephanie Blythe will be spending time working with young artists at The Atlanta Opera’s Studio program.

Blythe’s previous work with The Atlanta Opera includes a 2018 production of “La Fille du Régiment,” where she performed as the Marquise de Berkenfield.

The Atlanta Opera is set to open a production of “La Traviata” on April 27; it will run through May 5, 2019.
