Stéphane Argyropoulos Appointed President of FEDORA

FEDORA announced the appointment of Stéphane Argyropoulos as its new President following the sudden passing of its late President Jérôme-François Zieseniss who passed on Feb. 19.

Argyropoulos previously served as FEDORA’s Vice-President, and was a member of the board since 2022. He is the Founder and President of the financial advice firm, “The Silver Company,” the main sponsor of the FEDORA Opera Prize. Argyropoulos is also the chair of the board for AMFIE, a position he has held since 2016.

He says in a press release, “I am honoured by the Board’s trust and look forward to continuing Jérôme-François Zieseniss’ remarkable legacy together with our organisation’s Director Edilia Gänz and team. In close collaboration with all our members, donors and partners, we share the commitment of supporting the next generation of promising artistic talent who will bring the narratives of tomorrow to the stage, today.”

FEDORA’s board also named Zieseniss as Honorary President of FEDORA, to honor his legacy.
