Staatsoper Stuttgart Announces Cast Change for ‘Káťa Kabanová’

The Staatsoper Stuttgart has announced a cast change for its production of “Káťa Kabanová.”

The company said that Annette Dasch will sing the title role replacing Corinne Winters.

In a statement via social media Winters said, “Unfortunately, I’ve come down with a throat infection and have to cancel tonight’s Káťa performance at Staatsoper Stuttgart. I look forward to the next show on Sunday, but in the meantime, lots of love to the whole cast and team, especially Annette Dasch who will be jumping in and saving the day. Toi toi toi and see you all soon!”

Dasch is set to join a cast that includes Patrick Zielke, Elmar Gilbertsson Maria Riccarda Wesseling, Rainer Trost, Kai Kluge, Ida Ränzlöv, and Torsten Hofmann. Tito Ceccherini conducts.
