Soprano / Pianist Chelsea Guo to Headline The Gilmore’s 2025 ‘Rising Stars Series’

Soprano and pianist Chelsea Guo is set to perform as part of The Gilmore’s “Rising Stars Series” this fall.

The winner of the 2022 Young Artists International Auditions will perform works by Beethoven, Debussy, Strauss, and Schoenberg during her performance on Sept. 21, 2025 at the Cori Terry Theatre.

Guo was named  “Classic FM’s Rising Stars: 30 Brilliant Musicians We’re Celebrating in 2022” and released her debut album in 2021 for Orchid Classics. She has appeared as both pianist and soprano with Moritzburg Festival, LUMOS, New Jersey Symphony, Sociedad Filarmónica La Coruña, New Haven Symphony, Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra, and Oregon Mozart Players, among others.

She recently performed at Baruch College as part of the Silberman Recital Series and made her NYC and Washington D.C. debuts this past February.

The Gilmore’s “Rising Stars Series” will also include the Luther S. Allison Trio, Giorgi Gigashvili, and the Miki Yamanaka Trio.
