The Sarasota Opera is set to present Puccini’s “Tosca.”

The production by Stephanie Sundine is set to star Ann Toomey in the title role, Ben Gulley as Cavaradossi, and Stephen Gaertner as Scarpia. The cast will be rounded out by Stefano de Peppo, Michael Colman, David Weigel, Levi Hamlin, and Ivan Conrad.

The second cast of leads, starring Caitin Crabill as Tosca, Samuel Schlievert as Cavaradossi, and Alexander Boyd as Scarpia, will perform the opera on March 11.

Victor Derenzi will conduct the Puccini thriller. “Tosca” opens on Feb. 12 and runs through March 19, 2022.

This season the Sarasota Opera will also present “La Fille du Regiment,” “Atilla,” and “The Pearl Fishers” during its Winter Opera Festival.
