Sarasota Opera has made announcements regarding its board leadership.

The company revealed that Arthur Siciliano has been re-elected Chair of the Board of Trustees and that Katherine Benoit has been re-elected Vice Chair of the Board. Moreover, Lynn Blackedge will join as a new trustee.

Additionally, Joseph Mallof, who has worked as CEO of World Kitchen LLC, has been elected Treasurer. Finally, David Bialosky, former vice president and general counsel at Goodyear, will now be Secretary.

Siciliano is a retired entrepreneur and a devoted supporter of Sarasota Opera. He has worked alongside his wife, B. Aline Blanchard, to develop youth initiatives and educational programs with the company.

Blackedge has worked as a technology consultant and has volunteered for local arts and other non-profit organizations.

Finally, Sarasota Opera announced that Sherry Wheeler will be President of the Sarasota Opera Guild and that Elizabeth Aversa will be President of the Manatee Opera Guild.
