The Santa Fe Opera has updated its cast for Puccini’s “Tosca.”

The company noted that Leah Hawkins will sing three more performances of the title role on June 30, July 5, and 8, 2023. She will take over for Angel Blue who was scheduled for those performances as she will go on tour with the Met Opera. Additionally, Hawkins will also sing on  August 12, 19, 23, and 26, which she was originally scheduled for.

Blue will still perform in four performances from July 14 through August 7, 2023.

“Tosca” opens on June 30 and will also star Joshua Guerrero, Freddie De Tommaso, and Reginald Smith Jr. John Fiore conducts the production by Keith Warner.
