Santa Fe Desert Chorale Announces 44th Season

The 2026-27 season of Santa Fe Desert Chorale is announced.

Moira Smiley’s “Big Sing” and “Live in Concert” open the season.

Performance Date: April 25, 2026


The “Renaissance Splendor” concert is next.

Performance Date: July 12, 2026


The Chorale’s Summer Festival includes performances of new works by Shawn Kirchner and Shavon Lloyd, along with music by Alex Berko and Taja Astar. Rachmaninoff’s “All-Night Vigil” as well as a recital by soprano Kathlene Ritch, mezzo-soprano Sylvia Leith, bass-baritone Edmund Milly, and pianist Nathan Salazar round out the Festival. Joshua Habermann conducts.

Up next is the Santa Fe Sings! Workshop

Performance Date: September 19, 2026


“Carols & Lullabies,” “Insights & Sounds Children’s Concert,” and the Young Voices of the Santa Fe Opera’s Pop-Up Carols take place during the Winter Festival. Joshua Habermann conducts.
