San Francisco Opera to Bring Back ‘Boheme Out of the Box’ in Spring 2025

San Francisco Opera has announced its 2025 edition of “Bohème Out of the Box.”

The annual showcase, which features an abridged rendition of Puccini’s venerated classic, will head to  Sausalito on April 26 and 27, San Ramon’s City Center Bishop Ranch on May 1, Hidden Villa in Los Altos Hills on May 3 and 4, and Hayward’s Heritage Plaza on June 28 and 29. Every event has an early afternoon start time and is free to attend.

The cast stars San Francisco Opera Adler Fellows Caroline Corrales as Mimì, Samuel White as Rodolfo, Georgiana Adams as Musetta, Samuel Kidd as Marcello, and Jongwon Han as Colline. They are joined by Philip Skinner as Benoit/Alcindoro and Adler Fellow pianists Julian Grabarek and Ji Youn Lee.

Jose Maria Condemi directs.

The project was initiated in 2023 as part of the company’s centennial season celebration. Additionally, San Francisco Opera is also presenting “La Bohème” on its mainstage from June 3 – 21, 2025.
