San Francisco Opera and the San Francisco Public Library will continue its “The Opera in You” workshop this summer.

Now in its third year, the five-week workshop series, held in person at SFPL’s Potrero Branch and San Francisco Opera’s Diane B. Wilsey Center for Opera at the Veterans Building and online, from July through October, allows participants to “explore the unique experiences within all of us, while building storytelling literacy skills in a creative and collaborative environment.”

Corey Rosen will teach in-person sessions at the Diane B. Wilsey Center for Opera on Sundays from Sept. 14 – Oct. 12, 2025, with Patricia Cotter offering online sessions on Saturdays from Sept. 6 – Oct. 4, 2025.  F.T. Kola will also teach online sessions on Tuesdays from July 8 – August 5, 2025.  Sara Marinelli will teach sessions on Thursdays from July 10 – August 7, 2025 at the Diane B. Wilsey Center for Opera and Christian Wilburn will teach on Saturdays from July 12 – August 9, 2025 at the Portero Branch. Finally, Christian Wilburn will teach at the Diane B. Wilsey Center for Opera on Saturdays from July 12 – August 2, 2025.
