
Royal Swedish Opera Announces Spring 2026 Programming

The Royal Swedish Opera announces its spring 2026 events.
The third part of Linus Fellbom’s “Figaro trilogy: Figaro gets a divorce” is presented. In the roles of Susanna and Figaro are Vera Talerko and David Stout. Elin Rombo plays the role of the Countess and Jeremy Carpenter the Count.
Performance Date: January 31, 2026
A new production of Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly” is directed by Sofia Adrian Jupither. The role of Cio-Cio San is played by Izabela Matula, Suzuki is sung by Katarina Leoson, Pinkerton is performed by Dmytro Popov, and Karl-Magnus Fredriksson takes on the role of Sharpless.

Christof Loy’s production of Schreker’s “Der ferne Klang” stars Agneta Eichenholz.
Performance Date: February 13, 2026
Choreographer and director Örjan Andersson’s production of Rossini’s “Cinderella” takes place as part of the Youth Opera series.
Performance Date: March 28, 2026
Rebecca Nash and Daniel Johansson star in Puccini’s “Turandot.” Marco Arturo Marelli directs.
Performance Date: April 14, 2026
